Day 1

CUSCO - HYDROELECTRIC PLANT - HOT WATER

The adventure begins early in the morning with departure from Cusco between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. in tourist transport.

The journey crosses the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through Ollantaytambo, before ascending a mountain road with panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks.

The route crosses the Abra Málaga pass and from there begins the descent into the cloud forest, where the climate becomes warmer and more humid.

After several hours of travel, you arrive in Santa Teresa and then at Hidroeléctrica, where you'll stop for lunch.

From Hidroeléctrica, a hike of approximately three hours (11 km) begins along a trail surrounded by vegetation, following the railway line to Aguas Calientes.

Once in town, you'll check in to your accommodation and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

The evening is used to rest and prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 2

MACHU PICCHU - AGUAS CALIENTES - HYDROELECTRIC PLANT - CUSCO

The second day begins very early, around 4:00 a.m., with the start of the ascent to the entrance of Machu Picchu, a one-hour climb up stone steps.

Upon arrival, you will enter the Inca citadel at the scheduled time and enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the main archaeological sectors.

Afterward, you will have free time to explore the site at your own pace and take photographs.

Following the tour, you will descend back to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then begin the return hike to Hidroeléctrica.

From there, your transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, where your arrival is expected around 9:30 p.m.
