Day 1

A Complete Immersion in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

We’ll start by picking you up at your hotel and heading to this picturesque “living village.” We’ll explore its colonial temple, built on Inca foundations, and take part in a demonstration of traditional textile-making with local artisans.
We’ll visit this ingenious system of circular terraces where the Incas conducted experiments to acclimate plants to different microclimates.
Marvel at more than 3,000 pre-Inca salt pans that are still operated by local families. A visually stunning landscape, unique in the world.
We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with the finest fresh produce from the Sacred Valley in a peaceful setting.
We will explore this impressive military and religious fortress, known as a living Inca village that still preserves its original layout.
We will end the day by visiting the imposing terraces of Pisac and its famous artisan market, the perfect place to purchase unique pieces before returning to Cusco around 7:00 PM.
