Day 1

Hike to the Turquoise Sanctuary

The day before the tour begins, our team will visit you at your hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 PM to give you all the necessary instructions.

On the day of the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 AM.

We will board our transport and head to the town of Mollepata, located in the lush Apurímac River Valley.

In Mollepata, we will enjoy breakfast and have time to purchase anything you might need before the hike.

We will then travel to Challacancha, enjoying the majestic views of Humantay Mountain in the Vilcabamba mountain range along the way.

We will continue to Soraypampa (at 2900 meters above sea level), where we will take a short break to recharge.

We will begin a hike of approximately 2 km (about 2 hours) to Humantay Lagoon.

Upon arrival, we'll be able to admire the Humantay Mountain on one side and the imposing Salkantay Mountain on the other.

We'll have free time to rest, take photos, and appreciate the scenery.

We'll begin our return to Soraypampa to board our transport to Mollepata, where a delicious lunch awaits us.

We'll return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM, and will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.
