Day 1

Living culture in Uros and Taquile

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the port and begin our visit to the highest navigable lake in the world.

On the way to our main destination, we will stop to visit the floating islands of the Uros.

We will continue our journey to Taquile, a unique natural island located 35 km from the city of Puno.

Upon arrival at the island, you will be greeted by a simple stone gateway and a spectacular view of the lake.

We will have the opportunity to meet the Quechua people, known for their charisma and for crafting exquisite textiles.

We will explore the beautiful landscapes and archaeological sites that the island offers.

We will return to the port of Puno around 5:00 PM, from where you can return to your hotel to rest.
