Expedition on Wheels to the Heart of the Rainbow
Andean Sunrise and Buffet Breakfast: The day begins with pick-up from your hotel (3:30 - 4:00 a.m.) for the journey to the town of Cusipata. There, you will enjoy a nutritious buffet breakfast featuring local products to fuel your day.
ATV Adventure: After a safety briefing in the town of Japura, you will take the controls of your ATV for an exciting tour across open plains and past natural viewpoints. The ATV will allow you to navigate the high Andean landscapes with agility until you reach the edge of Vinicunca Mountain.
Summit Ascent: We will make a short final climb on foot to 5,033 meters above sea level to contemplate the majestic Rainbow Mountain and the snow-capped Ausangate Mountain. You will have ample time to capture unforgettable photographs and soak up the energy of the place.
Descent and Celebration Lunch: We'll return to the base on ATVs and then enjoy a full buffet lunch in Cusipata, including traditional, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Return to Cusco: The trip concludes with arrival in Cusco between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., with drop-off near your accommodation.
