Day 1

Cusco – Andahuaylillas – Raqchi – La Raya – Pukará – Puno

We begin our adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco to board our comfortable tour bus.
Our first stop is the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas. You’ll be amazed by its unique frescoes and stunning Baroque decor, an architectural treasure from the colonial period.
We continue to this imposing archaeological complex dedicated to the Inca creator god. We’ll observe its massive adobe walls and stone foundations, which showcase the ingenuity of Inca engineering.
You’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant, the perfect place to sample traditional regional dishes in a cozy setting.
We reach the highest point of the trip (4,335 m a.s.l.). It is the natural border between Cusco and Puno, the perfect spot to capture photos of the majestic snow-capped mountains and high-altitude landscapes.
Our last stop is Pukará, a pre-Inca site famous for its museum of stone and ceramic artifacts. You’ll learn about the history of the traditional “Toritos de Pukará,” a symbol of protection and abundance.
We arrive in the city of Puno in the afternoon, ending the tour at your hotel or final destination.
