Overview

The Qelccaya Glacier, located in the province of Quispicanchi, is the world's largest tropical glacier and one of Cusco's least explored natural wonders. Spanning over 44 km², this imposing mass of ice is considered a natural laboratory of climate history and a sanctuary of peace where nature reveals itself in its purest form. Upon visiting, you will find yourself facing an immense wall of ancient ice, pure white with bluish hues, creating an almost surreal landscape.
