Day 1

Conquest of the Summit of Vinicunca

Dawn on the Trail: The adventure begins bright and early with a pick-up from your hotel between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. We'll travel for 3 hours to the town of Pitumarca, where we'll enjoy an energizing breakfast.
The Start of the Challenge: We'll travel to the community of Qellouno to begin the hike. Along the way, the landscape gradually transforms, revealing mountains of vibrant colors and icy streams that feed Vinicunca Mountain.
The Magic Summit: We'll ascend to over 5,033 meters above sea level. At the summit of Rainbow Mountain, you'll have ample time to take photos and videos and enjoy a snack while appreciating the magic of the snow-capped peaks and the veil of clouds.
Return and Celebration: We'll begin the approximately 2-hour descent to Pitumarca. A hearty buffet lunch awaits us there before we begin our return journey. Arrival in Cusco: We will be back in the city at approximately 5:00 PM, ending the service near the Plaza de Armas.
