Day 1

Archaeological Treasures and Living Traditions

We’ll start by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco and heading to the picturesque town of Pisac. Here, we’ll visit its famous artisan market and the archaeological complex, where we’ll explore agricultural terraces, ceremonial temples, and spectacular views of the valley.
We’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of the Sacred Valley, sampling the rich Andean cuisine with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors.
We’ll continue to one of the oldest living villages in the Americas. We’ll visit its impressive Inca fortress, a key site during the resistance against the conquistadors, and admire its military and religious architecture.
Finally, we will visit Chinchero, a charming village with agricultural terraces and a colonial church built on Inca foundations. We will witness demonstrations of traditional Andean weaving techniques performed by local residents.
The tour concludes with the return transfer to the city of Cusco in the afternoon.
