Day 1

Engineering, Urban Planning, and Colonial Art

We begin the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco and head to this Inca hydraulic laboratory. Marvel at its perfectly carved terraces and water fountains, which, after centuries, continue to flow with mathematical precision. It is a peaceful place surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views.
We continue to the region’s only pre-Inca city. You’ll walk through the streets of what was once a major administrative and military center of the Wari culture. Its stone walls and urban layout will give you a unique perspective on pre-Inca Peru.
Our final stop is the picturesque town of Andahuaylillas to visit the Church of Saint Peter the Apostle. You’ll be amazed by its interior, covered in frescoes, paintings from the Cusco School, and altars gilded with gold leaf—a vibrant testament to the cultural fusion between Europe and the Andes.
We conclude the tour by returning to the city of Cusco, our hearts filled with history and unforgettable landscapes.
