Overview

The Lares trek to Machu Picchu 4D/ 3N is ideal for the culture and nature for those who want adventure. We'll make our way up Andean denes, across gutters, mountains and  insulated  townlets. The decor  will be  extensive, and one will be  suitable to see snow-  limited mountains and Sacred Valley.

Our first day will be spent in the morning when we will be leaving Cuzco and taking a lift through the Sacred Valley. We'll have a stop at Lares Hot Springs to take a rest and have a view of the mountain. Our route will start at Punta Carretera, 3300 meters in elevation where we will walk to Kiswarani. On the route, we will pass waterfalls, farms, and small Andean villages inhabited on the high-mountainous areas.

Day two will be a test on our part because we will be hiking up to the highest point of Condor Pass, 4,680 meters. The path will be zigzag in order to ease the hiking process and we will carry water bottles to keep us hydrated. On the top, we will have a panoramic sight of lakes, llamas, and valleys in the distance. We shall have descent to El Mirador afterward and into Cancha Cancha, a peaceful village, far down the valley of the Lares.

We will also hike downhill to Huaran (2,700 meters) on the 3rd day where the weather will become warmer. The path will pass over beet corn, quinoa, and avocado-trees. We wil take a drive to the Maras Salt Mines to take filmland and make a sightseeing trip. We'll be taking the train in the  autumn to Aguas Caliente, where we will have our night in a  hostel adjacently  positioned by the swash.

On the last day, we are going to fall up early and ride the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Later in the afternoon, we'll bring us back by train to Ollantaytambo after which we will drive back to Cuzco . Day 1

Cuzco – Lares Hot Springs – Kiswarani

We are going to collect everybody at the hotel at Cuzco early in the morning say 6. 30 A.M. Then we will travel for three hours in the Sacred Valley, green fields and Andean landscapes. Later we will reach the Lares Hot Springs at 3, 200 meters where we will have breakfast and rest in the thermal pools. The water will be both warm and hot, which will suit a post-driving refreshment.
We will then take the springs and drive 20 minutes to Punta Carretera at 3,300 meters. There we’ll see the horsemen and begin our slow up-hill walk. This route will run through potato fields, medicinal herbs as well as the small villages of the Andes. We will arrive at Kiswarani village and have a home made lunch by our trekking chef.
During the afternoon the horsemen will hold a ceremony about the llama and provide insight into its culture. We shall proceed to hike 2 hours more upwards to Kiswarani Waterfall Campsite at 3,850 meters. We will also go to the local houses on the way and study the Quechua culture. After a pleasant dinner with mountains all around, we will go to bed under the stars.

Day 2

Kiswarani – Condor Pass – Cancha Cancha Village

We are going to rise early in the morning and have hot drinks and watch the sunrise over mountains. we are going to begin the steep ascent to the Condor Pass 4,680 meters after breakfast. This will be a zigzag path to ease the uphill climbing and in between, we will have waterfalls, lakes on high altitude, llamas and alpacas.
On top we will stop to take pictures on top of the clouds and enjoy Mount Pitusiray which is at 5,700 meters. Then we shall descend one hour to El Mirador view-point and have lunch. Then we will walk three hours downwards to Cancha Cancha village, 3,750meters.
In Cancha Cancha we will receive Quechua families and local houses. We are going to observe how they weave alpaca and llama and give children supplies. Sleeping among nature and local traditions is what we will do after the dinner.

Day 3

Cancha Cancha – Maras Salt Mines – Aguas Calientes

Very early we will rise up with hot beverages and breakfast at the quiet village. We shall ascend moderately on the slope to farms where we will find potatoes, corn and fava beans. In the process we will come across ancient Incabhusbandry styles which are still used in ultramodern times.
We'll complete the passage at Huaran, which is 2,700 meters above ocean position and shot farewell to our horsewomen and touring staff. Next, we'd go to Maras, where we will see the well- known salt mines with further than 3,000 pink pools that are located at an altitude of 3,300 metres. Similar pools will give us hints of thepre-Inca traditions and the original culture.
Later in the autumn, we will take a trip to Ollantaytambo and visit Inca city. We see regale in an original eatery and also get on the train to Aguas Calientes .The following day we will enter our hotel and sleep until the visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 4

Machu Picchu – Cuzco
